Margin-X is a Chrome extension. It calculates profit and loss for Korean marketplaces directly on a 1688 product page.
Status
In development. A private test is in progress. Margin-X is not on the Chrome Web Store yet. Sales have not started.
Problem
- For each product, a cross-border seller copies the price, converts the currency, calculates shipping, searches market prices, and calculates fees. The seller does this again and again.
- If the seller forgets one cost, the seller can select a product that loses money on each sale.
Solution
- The extension reads the product name, the price, and the minimum order quantity from the 1688 product page.
- The extension shows the break-even price and the expected net profit for Naver Smart Store and Coupang seller delivery.
- The user can change the fee rate, the shipping cost, the exchange rate, and the risk buffer.
- The user compares the result with Naver Shopping market prices and decides whether to sell the product.
- The extension keeps candidate products only in the browser.
- All results are estimates. Margin-X does not guarantee profit.
