Summary
zip-bab is a mobile web service. It records the meals that a family actually eats and recommends dishes that the family has not eaten recently.
Status
In development. The nimuni family uses it first, and nimuni improves it from that use.
Problem
- Families do not easily remember what they ate recently. So they repeat the same dishes.
- Most existing services focus on recipe search or weekly meal plans. nimuni did not find a service that uses real meal records to prevent repetition.
Solution
- The user records one dish for each meal. Autocomplete helps the user type.
- The service reads the records and recommends dishes that the family has not eaten recently.
- A 30-day suggestion board and a monthly calendar show future dishes and past records.
- Family members join one household with an invitation link.
- Users start immediately without sign-in. If they sign up later, their records stay.
Technology
Next.js, TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, a dish dictionary based on Korean public data.
